Game Updates and Fixes for Baldur's Gate 3 on PC will be Included in the PS5 Version
Larian Studios has confirmed that all the improvements and bug fixes being implemented for the PC version of Baldur's Gate 3 will also be incorporated into the release version of the game on the PlayStation 5 console. They have reassured PS5 owners that they will not miss out on any updates and can expect a seamless gaming experience.
Michael Douse, the director of publishing at Larian, announced on Twitter that all the enhancements and bug fixes made to the popular Steam version of the game will also be implemented in the PS5 version and future updates.
It appears that Larian intends to release updates for Baldur's Gate 3 simultaneously on PC and PS5, which is good news for console players. However, the release date for the Xbox Series X and S versions is still unknown due to difficulties related to Microsoft's feature parity policy. Following its release on Steam last week, Baldur's Gate 3 has received several updates from Larian. One of these updates addressed issues related to character customization, specifically fixing problems with genitals and undergarments. Additionally, an emergency hotfix was implemented to address a situation where players had reached the maximum limit for personal story databases.
The most recent update, version 2.1, has reintroduced cross-saves before the release of the PS5. Larian has announced that a new update, hotfix 3, is currently being developed and will include additional fixes in the coming weeks. These fixes are also expected to be included in the PS5 version of Baldur's Gate 3, which is scheduled to be released on September 6.
