During the Ubisoft Forward 2022 event, Mirage was revealed as the latest installment in the Assassin's Creed series. This game takes a different approach to gameplay and length compared to Assassin's Creed Valhalla. In Mirage, combat is not the main focus and is only used as a last resort, in contrast to Valhalla where players could dual wield axes and engage in raid battles against unsuspecting enemies.

The game's map size will be considerably smaller, similar to the scale of Paris in Assassin's Creed Unity rather than the expansive Greece in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Completing the game will also take a relatively shorter time, estimated to be around 20 to 23 hours.
