At the end of the 2023 Pokemon World Championships in Yokohama, Japan, a fresh preview for Pokémon Scarlet And Violet: The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero Part 2 – The Indigo Disk was unveiled. This exciting video showcased the return of various iconic Pokemon from previous generations, as players will now be able to encounter every starter Pokemon in the game's wild areas.
In the trailer, all 24 original Pokémon starters, ranging from Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle to Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble, were showcased. These beloved Pokémon can be found in various biomes within the Blueberry Academy, just like any other wild Pokémon, and can be captured and trained.
In the trailer, there were previews of new Paradox Pokemon that will be introduced in the game called The Indigo Disk. One of these new Pokemon is Raging Bolt, which resembles a combination of the Gen 2 legendary Raikou and a Tallneck from Horizon: Zero Dawn. Raging Bolt demonstrated its new Thunderclap attack. Another new Paradox Pokemon, Iron Crown, drew inspiration from Cobalion and showcased its own move called Tachyon Cutter. The trailer also hinted at the introduction of a 19th type for Tera Pokemon, but no details were provided.
