To do so you&nbsp;<strong>MUST<\/strong>&nbsp;have console enabled.<br>at<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-enabling-console\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/parkervcp\/eggs\/tree\/ets2\/game_eggs\/steamcmd_servers\/truck-simulator\/euro-truck-simulator2#enabling-console\"><\/a>Enabling Console<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>To enable your console you must change 2 values in the clients config.cfg file located at  <code>C:\\Users\\UserName\\Documents\\Euro Truck Simulator 2 <\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the game off simply change the following: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>g_developer &#8220;0&#8221; &#8212;&#8211;&gt; g_developer &#8220;1&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>g_console &#8220;0&#8221; &#8212;&#8211;&gt; g_console &#8220;1&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"605\" height=\"232\" src=\"https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2070\" srcset=\"https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image.png 605w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-600x230.png 600w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-300x115.png 300w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-370x142.png 370w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-270x104.png 270w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-570x219.png 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once those have been changed save and close the file and start up ETS2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-generating-config-files\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/parkervcp\/eggs\/tree\/ets2\/game_eggs\/steamcmd_servers\/truck-simulator\/euro-truck-simulator2#generating-config-files\"><\/a>Generating Config Files<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have enabled your console and started ETS2, go ahead and log in to game and set up the convoy how you would normally set it up. This includes, any mods that you may have. Also, dont worry about setting up the name, password, description, etc, as the server_config.sii generated will ignore these settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have your convoy set up in game, press the ~ key and a console will open on the bottom center of your screen. If a console does not open, close ETS2 and go back up to&nbsp;<strong>Enabling Console<\/strong>&nbsp;section and go through those steps again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the console open type&nbsp;<code>export_server_packages<\/code>&nbsp;and press enter. The game will then tell you that the export was successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Navigate to the folder that contains your clients<strong> config.cfg<\/strong> file that you changed in the&nbsp;<strong>Enabling Console<\/strong>&nbsp;section and look for the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>server_packages.sii<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>server_packages.dat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-copy-to-server\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/parkervcp\/eggs\/tree\/ets2\/game_eggs\/steamcmd_servers\/truck-simulator\/euro-truck-simulator2#copy-to-server\"><\/a>Copy to Server<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>With your newly set up files its time to copy them over to the Pterodactyl Panel. Simply upload them through either your preferred SCP program or the file browser in the server panel to the .local\/share\/Euro Truck Simulator 2\/ folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the panel select start server and the server will then start up and create a default server_config.sii file. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the .local\/share\/Euro Truck Simulator 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"745\" height=\"71\" src=\"https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2075\" srcset=\"https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2.png 745w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2-600x57.png 600w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2-300x29.png 300w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2-370x35.png 370w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2-270x26.png 270w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2-570x54.png 570w, https:\/\/xgamingserver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-2-740x71.png 740w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 745px) 100vw, 745px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Edit the server_config.sii  making  changes to name, password etc. This is also where you would change your default ports if needed to suit your Pterodactyl settings. An example seen below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>moderator_list: 3\nmoderator_list&#91;0]: \"Steam64 ID Here\"\nmoderator_list&#91;1]: \"Steam64 ID Here\"\nmoderator_list&#91;2]: \"Steam64 ID Here\",\n^^^ Can be found by googling Steam ID Lookup\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-enjoy-your-server\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/parkervcp\/eggs\/tree\/ets2\/game_eggs\/steamcmd_servers\/truck-simulator\/euro-truck-simulator2#enjoy-your-server\"><\/a>Enjoy your server<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Once those files have been uploaded and configured you are free to start up your server. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the sever is started look for the line: Session search id: 00000000000000000\/101 The number before the \/ is your search term. This is number to search for in the convoy screen to find your server. You can&nbsp;<strong>NOT<\/strong>&nbsp;search by the server name at this time.
