This guide covers when it spawns, the crates and scrap it carries, the locked crate event, and how to take and hold the ship against other players.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When it spawns<\/h2>\n<p>Cargo Ship spawns roughly <strong>every 1\u20132 hours<\/strong> and sails a route around the map&#8217;s edge. A server-wide alert announces it, so the whole server knows it&#8217;s here \u2014 expect company, and expect to fight for it.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The loot<\/h2>\n<p>A full Cargo run yields around <strong>five elite crates, ten military crates and a stack of basic crates<\/strong> \u2014 averaging close to <strong>1,300 scrap<\/strong> plus high-tier components and weapons. The headline prize is the <strong>locked crate<\/strong>, which you activate and then defend until it opens, giving elite loot on par with the best in the game.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to take it<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Board with a boat<\/strong> \u2014 a RHIB is ideal; tie it off or keep someone with it so it isn&#8217;t stolen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clear the scientists<\/strong> \u2014 they patrol the decks and hit hard; bring armour, a good gun and meds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activate and hold the locked crate<\/strong> \u2014 the timer makes it a defend-the-point fight against NPCs <em>and<\/em> players.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mind the water<\/strong> \u2014 falling off without a plan to get back up usually means death.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solo or team?<\/h2>\n<p>Cargo is doable solo if it&#8217;s uncontested, but it&#8217;s a PvP magnet \u2014 most successful runs are a small team that can fight off third-parties while one person works the crate.
