This guide covers the main bosses, the Gamma\/Beta\/Alpha difficulty system, how to summon them, what to bring, and the strategy for each fight.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How boss fights work<\/h2>\n<p>You summon a boss with its <strong>tribute items<\/strong> (artifacts, trophies and resources) at an Obelisk or terminal, which teleports you and your creatures into an arena. Each boss has <strong>Gamma, Beta and Alpha<\/strong> tiers \u2014 start with Gamma to learn the fight, since Alpha has far more health and damage. There&#8217;s a <strong>creature cap<\/strong> (commonly around 20) and a <strong>time limit<\/strong>, and some arenas block flyers.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Island bosses<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Broodmother Lysrix<\/strong> (spider) \u2014 <strong>Megatheriums<\/strong> get an Insect Killer buff that melts her; the easiest of the three to start with.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Megapithecus<\/strong> (ape) \u2014 throws rocks and grabs small creatures; bring beefy <strong>Rexes or Therizinosaurs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dragon<\/strong> \u2014 the hardest; its fire breath deals damage based on a <strong>percentage of max health<\/strong>, so stack saddles and healing (a <strong>Daeodon<\/strong>) rather than relying on raw HP. Deinonychus and high-quality Rexes excel here.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overseer<\/strong> \u2014 the final ascension fight after defeating the three, with multiple phases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other maps&#8217; bosses<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manticore<\/strong> (Scorched Earth) \u2014 flies, so it&#8217;s about tanky melee when it lands plus ranged support.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rockwell<\/strong> (Aberration) \u2014 no flyers; use Rock Drakes, Spinos, Ravagers and Reapers against the nodes and tentacles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>King Titan \/ Titans<\/strong> (Extinction) \u2014 endgame fights with their own specialised strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to bring<\/h2>\n<p>The winning formula is consistent: <strong>bred, imprinted tames<\/strong> with high-armour saddles, a <strong>Yutyrannus<\/strong> for the damage\/resistance buff, a <strong>Daeodon<\/strong> to heal, plus medical brews and backup gear. Never bring wild-tamed, un-imprinted dinos to Beta or Alpha.
