Palworld 1.0 is here.<\/strong> Pocketpair released the full 1.0 launch on July 10, 2026<\/strong> (via update 1.100.427), taking the game out of Early Access. It is the biggest update in Palworld’s history: 72 new Pals<\/strong> (47 brand-new plus 25 variants, bringing the roster to 287<\/strong>), two new regions — the floating Sunreach<\/strong> islands and the endgame World Tree<\/strong> — two new mechanics in Mutations<\/strong> and Awakening<\/strong>, the Wing Pack<\/strong> glider, a raised level cap of 80<\/strong>, and a full main storyline. It is a free update<\/strong> for everyone who owns the game. Here’s everything new, and what it means if you run a server.<\/p>\n\n

When does Palworld 1.0 release?<\/h2>\n

Pocketpair confirmed the date with the 1.0 cinematic trailer: July 10, 2026<\/strong>. This is the full 1.0 launch, taking Palworld out of Early Access after roughly two and a half years. It arrives simultaneously on PC (Steam and the Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One<\/strong>, and lands on Game Pass on day one<\/strong>. Best of all, 1.0 is a free update for everyone who already owns the game<\/strong> — there’s no separate purchase.<\/p>\n\n

The World Tree and new floating islands<\/h2>\n

The headline addition is the World Tree<\/strong> — the giant landmark that’s been visible behind a barrier since launch. In 1.0 it becomes a fully accessible region and the setting for the conclusion of the main story<\/strong>. Pocketpair’s John Buckley has stressed that “while the World Tree will mark the conclusion of this particular journey, it’s by no means the end of Palworld,” so this ends the current story arc rather than the game.<\/p>\n

Alongside it are new floating-island<\/strong> locations that Pocketpair describes as “perfect for traversing with your flying mounts,” with a massive serpent Pal waiting in the clouds. Exact map-size figures haven’t been given officially, but this is clearly the biggest area expansion Palworld has had. The Wing Pack: flight becomes gear<\/h2>\n

To reach those skies, 1.0 adds the Wing Pack<\/strong> — “soar through the skies with the new Wing Pack,” as Pocketpair put it. Crucially it’s player equipment<\/strong>, shown alongside new weapons and armor rather than as a Pal mount, so it opens up vertical exploration without tying up a flying Pal. It’s one of the few 1.0 features Pocketpair has confirmed by name.<\/p>\n\n

Offshore bases, reworked bosses and new Pals<\/h2>\n

Building gets a big expansion in 1.0. Pocketpair has shown offshore base building<\/strong> — the ability to build out on the water — along with new structures, furniture and building parts. Endgame systems are reworked too: Tower bosses<\/strong> are described as more dynamic and engaging, and the game’s Wildlife Sanctuaries<\/strong> are getting an overhaul. Add story-driven missions, new weapons, armor and gear, and a Pal that transforms into a two-handed sword<\/strong> mid-combat, and even familiar content will feel different on launch day — with more new Pals than any previous update.<\/p>\n\n
