You craft it from Scrap Parts, Wood and Copper Bars early in the game, then combine <strong>two ingredients<\/strong> to produce a cooked dish with combined, improved and sometimes exclusive buffs. The catch that makes cooking deep: each ingredient has <em>hidden<\/em> cooking effects that differ from what it does when eaten raw and aren&#8217;t shown in-game, so the same crop can behave very differently in a recipe than on its own. The <strong>Cooking<\/strong> skill itself adds up to +20% chance for an extra cooked item at level 100, and the tier-4 <strong>Master Chef<\/strong> talent adds a 5\u201325% chance for that extra food to come out one rarity tier higher.
