This guide covers how to find one, the mobs inside, every secret room, and the best loot.<\/p>\n

How to find a Woodland Mansion<\/h2>\n

Mansions generate rarely in dark forest (and pale garden) biomes<\/strong>, usually thousands of blocks from spawn. There are two reliable ways to locate one:<\/p>\n

  1. Woodland Explorer Map:<\/strong> trade with a cartographer villager<\/strong> (journeyman level) for a woodland explorer map. It marks the nearest mansion \u2014 though “nearest” can still be a long journey.<\/li>\n
  2. \/locate structure mansion<\/strong> if cheats are enabled (great for testing on your own server).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Because mansions are so far out, come prepared: food, a bed, boats for ocean crossings, and combat gear.<\/p>\n
