Kall Fimbulbringer<\/strong> is the final boss of Valheim \u2014 added with the Deep North<\/strong> biome in the 1.0 release. Beating it ends the Viking journey that started with Eikthyr and rolls the credits. It’s a long, three-phase fight with a very specific damage profile, so going in with the wrong weapons will get you nowhere. Before you go: you need to have beaten Fader<\/h2>\n

The Deep North sits after the Ashlands in progression. Unlike the Ashlands, it isn’t walled off by a boiling ocean \u2014 it gates you by sheer creature difficulty. You’ll want to have defeated Fader<\/strong> (the Ashlands boss) and be geared in Flametal or, ideally, the new Deep North gear before you attempt Kall Fimbulbringer. You reach the boss through the Deep North’s Jotun invasion<\/strong> event \u2014 activating the Orb of Fimbulvinter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Kall Fimbulbringer HP: a three-phase fight<\/h2>\n

This is one of the longest boss fights in Valheim. Kall Fimbulbringer has three phases<\/strong> with separate health pools:<\/p>\n

For comparison, that’s nearly double Fader’s 25,000 and more than twice The Queen’s 18,000 \u2014 so bring plenty of food and stamina meads and be ready for a marathon.<\/p>\n\n

The key to the fight: use BLUNT or SLASH \u2014 not elemental<\/h2>\n

This is the mistake that wrecks most first attempts. Kall Fimbulbringer resists nearly every damage type<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
