Through Early Access you climbed to <strong>Steel<\/strong>; 1.0 adds the top tiers on top:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Iron \u2192 Steel<\/strong> \u2014 your Early Access progression (Steel added in the Fellhollow update, with its plumed Full Helm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adamant<\/strong> \u2014 crafted in the Umbral Sands region<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rune<\/strong> \u2014 the new melee ceiling in 1.0: Rune Helmet, Platebody, Platelegs and Shield, plus Rune Dagger, Sword, Scimitar, Mace, Warhammer, Greataxe, Greatsword and Crossbow<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dragon<\/strong> \u2014 the endgame red armour, earned from Kuldra (below)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ranged &#038; magic gear<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Melee isn&#8217;t the only path \u2014 1.0 rounds out the other two combat styles:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ranged:<\/strong> <strong>Black Dragonhide<\/strong> armour (Coif, Body, Chaps) plus the <strong>Magic Longbow<\/strong> and <strong>Magic Shortbow<\/strong>, and the Rune Crossbow. Red Dragonhide and Infinity Robes come from the Umbral Sands.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Magic:<\/strong> the <strong>Ancestral<\/strong> set \u2014 Ancestral Hat, Robes and Robe Legs \u2014 with the <strong>Ancestral Staff<\/strong> and the brand-new <strong>Wand<\/strong> weapon type.
