# How to Set a Password on Your Abiotic Factor Server (/docs/abiotic-factor/server-password)

Set a Password [#set-a-password]

    In the [XGamingServer Panel](https://panel.xgamingserver.com), click **Startup**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Find the **Server Password** field (maps to `-ServerPassword`) and enter your password.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Restart from **Console**. Players must enter this password when connecting.
  </Step>

Remove the Password [#remove-the-password]

Clear the **Server Password** field in **Startup** and restart.
