How to Join Your American Truck Simulator Server
How to connect to your ATS dedicated server via the Convoy session browser or direct session ID.
Method 1: Session Browser
- Launch American Truck Simulator
- Go to Convoy → Browse Sessions
- Search for your server by name
- Click Join
- Enter the password if required
📝 Note: The server must have port forwarding configured for ports 27015 and 27016 (TCP+UDP) to appear in the browser.
Method 2: Direct Session ID
Every server gets a session search ID shown in the console on startup. Players can search by this ID directly:
- Go to Convoy → Browse Sessions
- Enter the session ID in the search field
- Join
💡 Tip: Create a GSLT token so your session ID stays the same across restarts.
Version Mismatch
The game client and server must be on the same version. If you can't connect after a game update, see Version Mismatch & Downgrade.
