How to Enable Crossplay on Your ARK: Survival Evolved Server
How to enable Steam + Epic Games Store crossplay on your ARK SE dedicated server.
ARK: Survival Evolved supports crossplay between Steam and Epic Games Store on PC only.
Enabling Crossplay
Add -crossplay to your server startup parameters:
- In the XGamingServer Panel, click Startup
- Find the startup command or additional flags field
- Add
-crossplay - Restart your server
Limitations
- No console crossplay — ARK SE does NOT support crossplay between PC and Xbox/PlayStation
- Epic Games players cannot use Steam Workshop mods — the server must be vanilla or use mods that don't require Workshop
- Both client and server must be on the same version
-epiconlyflag restricts to Epic-only connections
