How to Connect to Your Day of Defeat Server

Join your Day of Defeat dedicated server using the in-game console, Steam server browser, or a steam:// direct link.

Find Your Server Address

Find your server IP and port on the Network tab in the XGamingServer Panel. The default game port is 27015 (UDP).

Press ~ (tilde) in-game. Enable the console first via Options → Keyboard → Advanced → Enable developer console if needed.

connect 123.45.67.89:27015

With a password:

connect 123.45.67.89:27015; password "YourPassword"

In Steam, click View > Game Servers > Favorites tab.

Click Add a Server and enter your server's IP and port:

123.45.67.89:27015

Select the server in your favorites and click Connect.

Share a steam:// link on your website or Discord:

steam://connect/123.45.67.89:27015

Clicking the link launches Steam, opens Day of Defeat, and connects automatically.
