How to Change Max Players on Your DayZ Server

Set the player count limit on your DayZ dedicated server.

Change the Player Limit

In the XGamingServer Panel, go to Console and stop the server.

Click Files in the sidebar and open serverDZ.cfg. Set:

maxPlayers = 60;

Click Save Content and start from Console.

When many players connect at once, the login queue prevents performance drops:

Setting	Default	Description
`loginQueueConcurrentPlayers`	`5`	Players processed simultaneously during login
`loginQueueMaxPlayers`	`500`	Max players that can wait in the queue
