# How to Wipe & Reinstall Your Empyrion Server (/docs/empyrion-galactic-survival/wipe-reinstall)

World Wipe [#world-wipe]

1. Stop your server (use `saveandexit 0` for clean shutdown)
2. In **Files**, delete or rename `Saves/Games/<GameName>/`
3. Start the server — a new world generates

Full Reinstall [#full-reinstall]

1. Stop, delete all files, click **Reinstall Server** on the Dashboard

> ⚠️ Always use `saveandexit 0` for graceful shutdown — forced stops can corrupt saves.
