How to Update Your Euro Truck Simulator 2 Server
How to update your ETS2 dedicated server to the latest version and fix version mismatch issues.
Updating via the Panel
- Log in to the XGamingServer Panel
- Stop your server
- On the Dashboard, click Reinstall Server
- Wait for the update to complete
- Start your server
After Updating
- If you use mods, you may need to re-export
server_packages— see Mod Setup - All players must update their game client to match the server version
Version Mismatch
Server updates via SteamCMD can lag behind game client updates by several days. If players can't connect after a game update, see Version Mismatch & Downgrade.
