How to Set a Password on Your Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Server
Password protect your Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dedicated server.
Open Startup
In the XGamingServer Panel, click Startup in the sidebar.
Set the Password field
Find the Password field and enter your password.
Restart
Restart from Console to apply.
Open server.cfg
In Files, open hl2mp/cfg/server.cfg.
How Players Connect
connect 123.45.67.89:27015; password "YourPassword"Or via a clickable Steam link:
