How to Install CrazyCraft on Your Minecraft Server
Learn how to set up a CrazyCraft modpack server with hundreds of mods for chaotic fun.
CrazyCraft is a massive modpack featuring hundreds of mods, including powerful weapons, crazy mobs, superheroes, and dimensions. It's known for its over-the-top, chaotic gameplay.
Installing CrazyCraft
Check for a one-click installer
Go to Modpacks on the XGamingServer panel and search for CrazyCraft. If available, install it directly — this handles version matching automatically.
Manual installation (if not listed)
If CrazyCraft isn't in the modpack installer:
Download the CrazyCraft server files from the official source (VoidsWrath launcher or CurseForge, depending on the version).
Upload server files
Stop your server, then upload the CrazyCraft server files via Files. This typically includes:
/mods/folder (all the modpack mods)/config/folder (mod configurations)- Server JAR or Forge installer
Set the correct Forge version
CrazyCraft requires a specific Forge version. Check the modpack's documentation for the exact version and set it in Startup.
Allocate enough RAM
CrazyCraft is extremely resource-intensive:
| Players | Recommended RAM |
|---|---|
| 1–3 | 6 GB |
| 3–10 | 8 GB |
| 10+ | 10 GB+ |
Start the server
Start from Console and watch for errors. First startup takes longer as mods initialize.
Accept the EULA
If prompted, accept the EULA and restart.
Connecting to Your Server
Players must install the same CrazyCraft version on their client:
- Download the VoidsWrath launcher or CurseForge app
- Install the matching CrazyCraft version
- Allocate at least 4 GB RAM to the client
- Connect using your server IP
⚠️ Warning: CrazyCraft versions must match exactly between server and client. Even minor version differences will cause connection failures with mod mismatch errors.
💡 Tip: CrazyCraft adds extremely powerful items and mobs. Consider setting up world backups on a schedule since the chaotic gameplay can occasionally cause world corruption.
