# RuneScape: Dragonwilds Server Logs (/docs/runescape-dragonwilds/server-logs)



Server logs are your best tool for understanding what's happening on your RuneScape: Dragonwilds server and diagnosing issues.

Finding the Log File [#finding-the-log-file]

On XGamingServer [#on-xgamingserver]

1. Log in to the [XGamingServer Panel](https://panel.xgamingserver.com) and select your server
2. In the sidebar, go to `Files`
3. Navigate to:

RSDragonwilds/Saved/Logs/RSDragonwilds.log
```

Live Console Output [#live-console-output]

You can also view real-time server output in the `Console` tab of the panel.

What to Look For [#what-to-look-for]

Server Version [#server-version]

The server version is displayed at the top of the log file. Compare this to your game client version (shown in the top-left corner of the screen) to ensure they match.

Startup Errors [#startup-errors]

Look for error messages during startup — these will tell you if:

* Mandatory config values are missing (Owner ID, Server Name, etc.)
* Port binding failed
* Save file loading failed

Connection Issues [#connection-issues]

If players report they can't connect, the logs will show:

* Whether the server registered with the server browser
* Connection attempts and failures
* Version mismatch warnings

Clearing Logs [#clearing-logs]

Old logs can accumulate over time. To clear them:

1. **Stop** your server
2. Navigate to `RSDragonwilds/Saved/Logs/`
3. Delete old log files
4. **Start** your server — a fresh log will be created
