# How To Change Max Players on Your Squad Server (/docs/squad/max-players)

Here is how to change the maximum player count on your Squad server. Squad supports up to 100 players in a single match.

    Log in to the [XGamingServer Panel](https://panel.xgamingserver.com) and select your Squad server. In the sidebar, click **Startup**.

    Find the **Max Players** field and set it to the number of player slots you want.

    Go to **Console** in the sidebar and restart your server to apply the change.

    > 📝 **Note:** Squad is designed for large-scale battles. For the best gameplay experience, servers typically run with 60-100 player slots. Higher player counts require more server resources.
