# How To Change Max Players on Your Stationeers Server (/docs/stationeers/max-players)

You can adjust the maximum number of players on your Stationeers server through the startup parameters.

    Log in to the [XGamingServer Panel](https://panel.xgamingserver.com).

    Make sure your server is **stopped** before making changes.

    In the sidebar, click **Startup**.

    Find the **Max Players** field and enter the desired number of player slots.

    > 📝 **Note:** Stationeers is a complex simulation game. Higher player counts increase the computational load as more players interact with the simulation. Make sure your server plan can handle the number of players you set.
