This guide will help you connect to your The Forest dedicated server.

Connecting To Your Server [#connecting-to-your-server]

    Copy Your Server IP [#1-copy-your-server-ip]

    Access the [XGamingServer Panel](https://panel.xgamingserver.com) and select your The Forest server. Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.

    Open The Forest [#2-open-the-forest]

    Launch The Forest on Steam and from the main menu, click `Multiplayer`.

    Join a Dedicated Server [#3-join-a-dedicated-server]

    Select `Join Game` and then click the `Dedicated` tab at the top to switch to the dedicated server list.

    Find Your Server [#4-find-your-server]

    You can find your server by:

    * **Server Browser:** Search for your server name in the dedicated server list.
    * **Direct Connect:** If available, use the direct connect option and enter your server IP address.

    If you have set a [password](/docs/the-forest/set-a-password), enter it when prompted.

    > 💡 **Tip:** If your server does not appear in the browser, make sure it has finished starting up by checking the `Console` in the panel.
