Change the Max Player Slots on Your ATS Server
Adjust the player slot limit on your ATS server and enable up to 128-player convoys.
Here is how to adjust the maximum number of player slots on your American Truck Simulator server.
Setting Max Players
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and stop your server.
Change the Player Limit
In the sidebar, go to Startup. Edit the Max Players value.
Start Your Server
Start your server to apply the change.
⚠️ Warning: For player counts above 8, every player MUST modify their local game config files or they will not be able to see your server in the browser. See the section below.
Enabling 128-Player Convoys
If you want more than 8 players on your ATS server, every player must modify their local game files. Follow these steps after setting Max Players above.
Close ATS
Make sure American Truck Simulator is fully closed.
Open Your Config Folder
Press Windows Key + R and enter:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\American Truck SimulatorEdit the Config File
Open config.cfg with a text editor. Press Ctrl + F to find uset g_max_convoy_size and change its value to 128:
uset g_max_convoy_size "128"Save and Launch
Save your changes and start ATS.
