Changing the Server Name on Your CS2 Server
Change the server hostname displayed in the browser on your Counter-Strike 2 dedicated server.
This guide covers how to change your server name on your Counter-Strike 2 server, also referred to as a hostname. This is what is displayed to players in the server browser.
Changing Your CS2 Server Name
Open Startup Settings
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your server. In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Set Your Server Name
Find the Server Name setting and enter your desired server name.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server to apply the new name.
📝 Note: This setting will override anything you have manually set inside of server.cfg
