Installing Mods on Your ETS 2 Server
Export mods from your local ETS 2 game and upload them to your dedicated Euro Truck Simulator 2 server.
To upload mods to your Euro Truck Simulator 2 server, you first need to activate and export them from your local game. This guide covers the full process.
Exporting Mods Locally
If you have not already, you will need to enable the ETS 2 in-game console first.
Activate Your Mods
Open ETS 2 and under Mods, select the mods you would like to activate, then click Confirm Changes.
Export Server Packages
Load into a career game, then open the console with ~. Type export_server_packages and press Enter.
Locate the Exported Files
Press Windows Key + R and enter:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2Copy the server_packages.dat and server_packages.sii files.
Uploading Mods to Your Server
Stop Your Server
Access the XGamingServer Panel and stop your ETS 2 server.
Navigate to the Server Files
In the sidebar, go to Files. Navigate to .local/share/Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Replace the Package Files
Delete the existing server_packages.dat and server_packages.sii files. Upload your exported copies in their place.
Start Your Server
Start your server to load the new mods.
