Set a Custom Server Name in Left 4 Dead 2
Update the hostname displayed in the server browser for your Left 4 Dead 2 dedicated server.
Your server name (also called a hostname) is what players see in the server browser. Here is how to change it on your Left 4 Dead 2 server.
Changing Your Server Name
Open the Panel
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Edit the Server Name
Find the Server Name setting and enter your desired server name.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server for the new name to appear in the server browser.
📝 Note: This setting will override anything you have manually set inside of
server.cfg.
