Enshrouded Flame Altar Upgrade Planner

Every Enshrouded base revolves around a Flame Altar. Upgrading it across two parallel tracks — Strengthen the Flame (1-9, adds shroud time, attribute bonuses, altar activation capacity, and raises Shroud Passage Level) and Altar Area (1-4, grows your buildable footprint from 40³ up to 160³) — is the spine of every playthrough. The requirements list is long: 9 dragon-tier boss heads, 210 Spark, 54 rescued Survivors, plus hundreds of mid-tier mats (Gentian, Saffron, Wolfsbane, Obsidian, Lapislazuli, Green Vitriol Dust, etc.). Miss one and you're stuck mid-tier.

This planner lists every level with its exact resource cost (verbatim from the wiki), the stats you unlock at each step (minutes of Shroud Time, attribute bonus, activation capacity, Shroud Passage Level), and an aggregate "resources remaining to max" view. The aggregate sums every requirement from your current level up to level 9 — plus unfinished Area tiers — so you see the whole endgame shopping list at once.

Enter what you already have in the inventory column. The remaining counter ticks down automatically. When an item hits zero, it turns green with a checkmark. Your progress + inventory saves to localStorage so you can pop back in after a gaming session and pick up where you left off.

Important note: the five craftspeople (Blacksmith, Alchemist, Hunter, Farmer, Carpenter) are NOT unlocked by altar level — each is rescued from an Ancient Vault out in the world, then summoned to your base with the Summoning Staff. Their recipe tiers scale with their own per-NPC leveling, fed by ingots and runes. The altar controls shroud/base/buildable scale; the craftspeople control what you can make at the bench.

If you host your own Enshrouded server on XGamingServer, altar-related XP rates and resource multipliers are adjustable in the server config — use this planner as your baseline and tune server settings to match your group's pace.
