How Taming Effectiveness Actually Works
Taming Effectiveness (TE) determines the bonus levels a tamed creature gets. It starts at 100% and decreases with every food item consumed. The drop rate depends on the creature's tamingIneffectiveness stat and the food's affinity value. Lower-tier foods (berries, raw meat) cause bigger drops. Kibble preserves TE because fewer feedings are needed.
The formula (Crumplecorn's model, unchanged in ASA):
