Icarus has 163 drop-in timed missions ("prospects") across four maps: Olympus (the original forest/arctic/desert), Styx (swamp + caves), Prometheus (volcano + ice), and Elysium (the Dangerous Horizons expansion, March 2026). Each prospect has a specific biome, duration, difficulty, and reward package — ren for workshop unlocks, exotic deposits to extract, and in some cases specific blueprints that unlock when you complete it.
This database covers them all with the rewards verified against the wiki's structured mission tables. Filter by map (click the tab), by prospect type (outpost, expedition, extermination, great-hunt, scan, recovery, research, stockpile, survey, recon, delivery, extraction, story, scout-chain, side-quest, tutorial — 16 types), by difficulty (tutorial / easy / medium / hard), or by duration (short ≤10 days, long, or timed hour-length prospects). Search by biome, objective text, or blueprint name to find specific unlocks.
Every prospect card shows the ren reward (yellow coin icon), the exotic deposit range as min-max (purple gem icon — these are the rarest in-game currency you carry back to the workshop), and how many unique blueprints the prospect unlocks on completion. Notable content: Olympus's Iron Core series (multi-part mining expeditions), Styx's Gargantuan Great Hunt (12-prospect campaign against the snake boss), Prometheus's Rimetusk Great Hunt (boss campaign), and Elysium's Eris Inquisition story (6-part NPC-driven chain + 3 scout chain prospects + 4 Elysium-specific side quests). All four maps share the four repeatable side quests (Cultivation Specialist, Black Market, Predator Specialist, Fisheries Officer) with map-specific reward instances.

What's the difference between prospect types?
Outpost = establish a base + survive. Expedition = explore + extract resources. Extermination = kill boss. Research = gather samples. Recovery = retrieve specific items. Scan/Survey = data collection. Stockpile = gather large quantities. Recon = scout missions. Delivery = transport items. Extraction = evacuate samples. Great Hunt = boss campaign. Story = narrative missions. Scout Chain = Elysium's scout-unlock missions. Side Quest = repeatable ren farm.
What are exotics and what do I do with them?
Exotics are the rarest in-game currency, extracted during prospects and carried back to your Workshop (meta-progression hub). Spend them on permanent character perks (Exotic Talents) and specific blueprint unlocks. Each prospect has a min-max exotic deposit range — the Great Hunt campaigns drop Legendary Biomass instead (a different currency).
Which prospects are best for beginners?
"First Cohort" (Olympus tutorial), "Beachhead" (Olympus easy outpost), "Potshot" (timed quick-run). Stay on Olympus until you've cleared the Quarrite Great Hunt — Styx and Prometheus require better gear and knowledge of specific biome hazards (snake bites, freezing, lava).
Do I lose progress if my prospect expires?
Yes — if you don't complete the prospect within its day count, you lose the ren + exotic reward. But you keep anything already extracted mid-prospect (drops into your personal workshop cache). Always extract high-value loot periodically instead of waiting until the last day.
