Every Soulmask Talent — Build Your Perfect Tribesman
Soulmask's tribesman/Awakener system runs on 617 Natural Gifts (talents) — passive bonuses that stack to define a character's effectiveness. Recruit a Flint Tribe Barbarian with the Refined Armor III talent and you'll forge high-quality armor 10% more often. Hire a Persistent worker and they'll mine 15% faster. Capture a Strong Constitution tribesman and they get +30% max HP. Get the wrong negative talents (Frail, Lazy, Weak Constitution) and your tribesman becomes a liability. This database has every single talent — sortable, filterable, searchable.
Talents split into 457 Positive and 160 Negative. **Positive talents** come from 7 sources: Normal (257 — random talents that any character can roll), Preferences (102 — based on what the character loves: hunting, crafting, animals, weapons), Tribe (44 — locked to specific tribes like Claw, Wildwolf, Savagehorn), Title (26 — earned bonuses like Master Hunter, Veteran Warrior), Origin (21 — birthplace/background traits), Personality (6 — character-defining traits like Brave, Curious), and Experience (1). **Negative talents** come from 4 sources: Preferences (92 — dislikes/phobias), Normal (43 — random penalties), Origin (21 — bad backgrounds), Title (4).
Each talent shows three IDs (one per level — most talents have 3 ranks granting +3%, +6%, +9%-style scaling), the title, the precise mechanical effect (e.g. "Movement Speed +[3,6,9]%" for Swift Pace), the source category, and the in-game icon. Talent IDs map directly to the `gm AddNG` and `gm RemoveNG` console commands — pick a talent, copy an ID, paste into your admin console to assign or remove it from a target tribesman.

What's the difference between talent sources?
Normal = randomly rolled on any character. Personality = core trait (Brave, Curious — only 6 exist). Tribe = exclusive to specific tribes (Claw, Wildwolf, Savagehorn, Flint, Sand Bandit). Origin = birthplace/background. Title = earned through play. Preferences = likes/dislikes (loves hunting, fears spiders). Experience = tied to specific game events.
How do I add or remove talents in Soulmask?
