Conan Exiles Server Configuration Guide

Learn how to edit game settings and configure your Conan Exiles dedicated server through the panel, in-game menu, or configuration files.

This guide covers all the ways to configure your Conan Exiles server, from basic panel settings to advanced file editing.

Basic Server Configuration

Basic settings such as Server Password, Server Name, PvP, Community Type, and more can be configured directly through the game panel.

Stop Your Server

Access the XGamingServer panel and Stop your server.

Edit Settings

In the sidebar, click Startup. Edit the settings you want to change.

Start Your Server

Start your server to apply the changes.

This is the recommended way to configure your server beyond basic settings. Before proceeding, ensure you have set an admin password since it is required for in-game server configuration.

Connect to Your Server

Join your Conan Exiles server.

Open Server Settings

Open the menu with Esc and click Settings, then select Server Settings.

Authenticate as Admin

Click Make Me Admin and enter your admin password.

Adjust Settings

Use the sidebar to find and change settings to your liking.

Manual ServerSettings.ini Configuration

📝 Note: If you want to configure everything only via game files or the in-game menu, go to Startup and disable File Parser. This is for advanced users who want to manually configure a server.

Stop Your Server

Log in to the XGamingServer panel and Stop your server.

Open the Settings File

In the sidebar, go to Files. Navigate to ConanSandbox/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ServerSettings.ini.

Edit and Save

Adjust your desired settings and click save.

Start Your Server

Start your server to apply the changes.
