Upload an Existing World to Your Conan Exiles Server
Step-by-step guide on how to upload your existing world save file to your Conan Exiles dedicated server.
This guide walks you through uploading an existing world to your Conan Exiles server.
📝 Note: Before getting started, keep the following in mind:
- This will delete or overwrite any progress you have made on the server.
- If you need to install mods with your save, add them following our mod installation guide. This guide assumes your save is not modded.
- If your save is not on the default map, you will need to change the map on your server first.
Locating Your Local Save File
Open Your Game Files
Open your Steam Library, right-click Conan Exiles, and select Manage, then Browse Local Files.
Find Your Save
Enter the ConanSandbox/Saved folder. Copy your game.db file (or DLC_Siptah.db for Isle of Siptah saves).
Uploading Your Save
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and stop your server.
Navigate to the Save Folder
In the sidebar, go to Files. Navigate to the ConanSandbox/Saved folder.
Replace the Save File
Delete the existing game.db, game.db-wal, and game.db-shm files. Upload your existing game.db file to the server.
Start Your Server
Start your server to load the uploaded save.
