Add Mods to Your Core Keeper Server

Download mods from mod.io and install them on both your local Core Keeper game and your dedicated server.

This guide covers how to install mods on your Core Keeper server. You can browse and download mods from mod.io.

Installing Mods Locally

⚠️ Caution: Make sure you install all required dependencies for each mod. Dependencies are listed on each mod's download page.

Open Core Keeper Mods Menu

Open Core Keeper and select Mods from the menu.

Subscribe to Mods

Subscribe to your desired mods and confirm they are enabled under Collections.

Restart Your Game

Restart Core Keeper to load your enabled mods.

📝 Note: Always check for mod updates, as mods may break after new Core Keeper updates.

Uploading Mods to Your Server

⚠️ Caution: Make sure you upload all required dependencies for each mod. Some mods only need to be installed on your local game client, while others require installation on both your server and game client.

Download the Mod Files

Go to mod.io (optionally filter by Server in the left sidebar). Select the mod you want and click the Manual Download button under Download files manually.

Stop Your Server

Access the XGamingServer Panel and stop your Core Keeper server.

Create the Mods Folder

In the sidebar, go to Files. Navigate to /CoreKeeperServer_Data/StreamingAssets/ and create a folder named Mods.

Upload and Extract the Mod

Inside Mods, create a folder named after the mod you are installing. Open that folder and upload your downloaded Mod.zip file. Once uploaded, decompress the archive.

Start Your Server

Start your server to load the new mods.

💡 Tip: The example below uses the mod ChestLabels, which must be installed on both your server and local game to function.
