Setting Up Admin Access on Your Icarus Server
Set an admin password on your Icarus dedicated server and use admin commands to manage players, kick, and ban.
Managing player permissions -- including granting administrative privileges or banning players -- is essential for maintaining a healthy gaming environment. Icarus servers use an admin password to authenticate users.
Setting an Admin Password
Stop Your Server
Access the XGamingServer Panel and stop your Icarus server.
Set the Admin Password
In the sidebar, go to Startup. Under Basic, set your desired Admin Password.
Restart Your Server
Restart your server to apply the changes.
Becoming an Admin in Icarus
Connect to Your Server
Join your Icarus server.
Open Chat
Open chat by pressing Enter.
Authenticate
Enter /adminlogin YourAdminPassword to log in as an admin.

| /BanPlayer [Steam ID/Player Name] [Reason] | Ban a player from the server with an optional reason. |

| /KickPlayer [Steam ID/Player Name] [Reason] | Kick a player from the server with an optional reason. |
| /ReturnToLobby | Immediately returns the dedicated server to the lobby. |
| /ReturnToLobbyWhenEmpty | Returns the dedicated server to the lobby when the server is empty. |
| /UnbanPlayer [Steam ID/Player Name] | Unbans a player from the server. |
