Learn how to switch between PVP and PVE modes on your Unturned dedicated server to control player combat.

Switching between PVP and PVE modes on your Unturned server determines whether players can damage each other or only fight against zombies and the environment.

Changing Your Server PVP/PVE Mode

Stop Your Server

Access the XGamingServer panel and Stop your server.

Select a Mode

In the sidebar, go to Startup. Find the PVP/PVE dropdown menu and select either:

PVP - Players can damage and kill each other
PVE - Players cannot harm each other, only zombies and the environment

Start Your Server

Start your server to apply the changes.

PVP vs PVE Explained

PVP (Player vs Player): Players can fight each other, creating a more competitive and intense survival experience.
PVE (Player vs Environment): Players work together against zombies and environmental threats, promoting cooperation and teamwork.
