Unlocks: Demonite gear, shadow scales
Drops: Demonite Ore, Shadow Scale
Corruption-only. Crimson worlds get Brain of Cthulhu instead.
Brain of Cthulhu
1,000 + 100 per Creeper HPSummon: Break 3 Crimson Hearts OR craft Bloody Spine (Crimson)
Unlocks: Crimtane gear, tissue samples

Crimson-only. Easier than Eater for ranged players.
Queen Bee

Mandatory before Wall. Chase the head, ignore the hands once they're dead.

Skeletron Prime

Most punishing mech. Take out laser arm first.
Empress of Light

Final boss. The True Moon Lord variant in Master Mode is one of the hardest fights in the game.

All 18Terraria bosses across 7 progression phases — Pre-Hardmode through Endgame Moon Lord. Each entry includes HP, summon item, what defeating it unlocks, key drops, and arena tips. Click the checkbox to mark a boss defeated; progress saves to your browser's localStorage automatically. Optional bosses (Queen Slime, Duke Fishron, Empress of Light) are flagged but recommended for top-tier loot.
Terraria Progression Phases
- Pre-HM — Eye → EoW/BoC → Skeletron is the mandatory chain. Add Queen Bee for hive items.
- Pre-HM Final — Wall of Flesh activates Hardmode — corruption/crimson and hallow spread, new ores.
- Hardmode — Three mechanical bosses (Twins / Destroyer / Skeletron Prime). Order doesn't matter; Destroyer is easiest.
- Post-Mech — Plantera unlocks Dungeon HM mobs and lets you progress to Golem.
- Post-Plantera — Golem (Temple). Optional: Duke Fishron + Empress of Light for top-tier weapons.
- Post-Golem — Lunatic Cultist starts the Lunar Events — 4 Pillars to defeat for endgame fragments.
- Endgame — Moon Lord = final boss. True Moon Lord (Master Mode) is the ultimate challenge.
