Connecting Console Players to Your Abiotic Factor Server

Learn how Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 players can connect to your Abiotic Factor dedicated server using the in-game server browser.

Here is how console players on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 can connect to your Abiotic Factor server using the in-game server browser.

Connecting on Console

📝 Note: Console players must use the server browser and have crossplay enabled.

By default, you will have a password for your Abiotic Factor server. This can be seen under Startup in the game panel. After changing your password, restart the server to apply your changes.

Set a Server Name

Access the XGamingServer Panel and select your server. In the sidebar, go to Startup and set a Server Name.

Restart Your Server

Go back to Console and restart your server.

Launch and Configure the Game

Open Abiotic Factor and ensure Crossplay is enabled in your game settings.

Find Your Server

Select Enter The Facility then Join A Server. Enter your full Server Name into the search field and select Apply.

Join the Server

Choose your server from the results and click Join.
