Every random gen world spawns up to 5 traders, one of each type. Click a card for biome, hours, and specialty. All traders open 04:05–21:50 game time and restock inventory every 3 in-game days.

Biome: Forest (most common), occasionally Burnt Forest
Hours: 04:05 – 21:50
Specialty: Generalist — guns, ammo, food, building tools. Most balanced inventory.
Spawns nearest the player start more often than other traders. Best 'first trader' on most maps.

Biome: Forest or Plains
Hours: 04:05 – 21:50
Specialty: Construction & farming. Lots of building blocks, seeds, hoes, axes.
Best trader to visit early when setting up your base — cheap stone tools.
Trader Hugh
Trader Hugh's Trading Post
Biome: Wasteland or Burnt Forest
Hours: 04:05 – 21:50
Specialty: Weapons & ammo. The best gun selection by far.
Mid-game — by day 21+ Hugh's quests reward T4-T5 weapon mods and exotic ammo.
Trader Rekt
Trader Rekt's Trading Post
Biome: Forest, Plains, or near towns
Hours: 04:05 – 21:50
Specialty: Food, drinks, seeds, recipes. Strong cooking-station unlock pipeline.
Notoriously rude greetings. Best trader for canned food + drinks if your scavenging is dry.
Trader Jen
Trader Jen's Trading Post
Biome: Snow biome (most often), occasionally Forest
Hours: 04:05 – 21:50
Specialty: Medicine & healing. First aid kits, antibiotics, beakers, splints.
Trip to Jen is essential after major injuries. Snow biome trip = bring warm clothing.
Quest Tier Progression
Each trader gives quests scaled to your gameplay day. Higher-tier quests = better rewards. You unlock T2 after 5 T1s, T3 after 5 T2s, etc.
