Arma Reforger Crossplay Explained
Arma Reforger was the first Bohemia game with cross-platform play. PC, Xbox, and PS5 players can connect to the same server — but only if the server opts in to each platform via game.supportedPlatforms. There are three tokens: PLATFORM_PC, PLATFORM_XBL, and PLATFORM_PSN. Each adds a browser where your server is visible.
The PSN Mod Restriction
The single biggest crossplay rule: PLATFORM_PSN disables mods. Sony PlayStation Network certification forbids user-generated content, so Bohemia disables the entire mods array when PSN is in supportedPlatforms — there is no override, no per-mod exemption, no workaround. If you list 30 mods and toggle PSN, those 30 mods silently vanish at startup.
Xbox (PLATFORM_XBL) is more permissive: mods are allowed, but only those Bohemia has explicitly certified for Xbox — look for the XBL badge on reforger.armaplatform.com. PC (PLATFORM_PC) has no mod restrictions.
