Named thralls are the rarest quality (T4). They have unique names (Lian, Dalinsia, Teimos) instead of generic titles. At crafting benches they unlock exclusive recipes (Epic armor, Flawless weapons, Hardened Steel variants) and give material-cost + production-speed bonuses based on their specialization (Shieldwright, Edgesmith, Tempersmith, etc).
Where do I find named crafters?
Rare spawns at specific POIs. Sepermeru has the highest concentration (Armorers, Alchemists, Carpenters, Smelters). Mounds of the Dead has Nordheimer fighters + smiths. The Black Galleon spawns Zamorian Thief crafters. Volcano (Votaries of Skelos) for late-game T4s. Isle of Siptah uses surge camps — elder vaults drop specific factions based on the surge type.
What's the best armor thrall?
Depends on the armor you want. Lianeele (Forgotten Tribe Performer) appears often but is actually a Performer, not armorer. For actual armor Lian (named blacksmith at Sepermeru) and Ghamm the Worn (Darfari named armorer) are top picks. Master Armorer Tialus from Siptah surge camps is BiS for most players.
Can I get all named thralls solo?
No — purge-exclusive thralls (Beast-Tamer Frida, Nordheimer Berserker, Sonja the Strider, some Cook variants) ONLY spawn during a purge attack on your base. You have to trigger purges by building near enemy territory or raising your purge meter via specific activities. Everything else is available via hunting POIs.
Do thrall bonuses stack between bench + thrall?
Yes. A crafting bench's own stat modifier stacks multiplicatively with the named thrall's specialization. Example: Flawless Armorer's Bench (-25% material cost) + Lian (-25% material cost) = roughly -44% combined (multiplicative, not additive). Plan your bench + thrall combo before crafting epic sets.
