DayZ Animal & Infected Spawn Map

Hunting for meat and fat, or trying to avoid a bear? This map plots all 7,461 wildlife spawn territories across the three official DayZ maps, straight from the server's env/*_territories.xml files — the same data that drives where animals and infected actually appear in-game. Filter by species from the left panel: bears and wolves (the predators that will kill you), red deer, roe deer and wild boar (the big game worth hunting for pelts and steaks), plus hares, foxes and livestock.

By default the map shows the high-stakes species — bears, wolves, wild boar, red deer and infected. Chernarus has 71 bear territories and 276 wolf packs; Livonia is even more dangerous with 85 bear zones. Each marker is a real spawn territory with its radius, so you can see the exact ranges where a given animal roams rather than guessing from a wiki.

The infected layer shows zombie concentrations by territory, including the density — how many infected can spawn at once — so you know which towns, military bases and industrial zones are crawling before you commit. Infected cluster hardest around Chernarus's military and city tiers, which is exactly where the best loot is: this map pairs naturally with our DayZ loot map to plan a run that gets you in and out alive.

Switch between Chernarus+, Livonia and Sakhal with the tab up top; the minimap (bottom-right) jumps you anywhere. Every territory is read from live server economy files — nothing estimated. If you run your own DayZ server on XGamingServer, these env files are yours to tune from the panel, and this map reflects exactly how your world is populated.
