Minecraft Ban Checker
Check if a player has been banned from major servers
Build banned-players.json
UUIDs are fetched from the official Mojang API. Each added player gets an editable ban entry below.
About Minecraft Bans
- banned-players.json — drop in server root folder (alongside server.properties). Applied on next server start or /reload.
- /ban PlayerName reason — bans by username, adds to this file automatically.
- /ban-ip 1.2.3.4 — bans by IP (different file: banned-ips.json).
- /pardon PlayerName — removes a ban.
- Some public servers like Hypixel maintain their own unified ban list. There's no universal "is this player banned" API across Minecraft.
- Ban by UUID (not username) — usernames can be changed, but UUIDs can't. This generator always uses UUID.
