RCON lets you send console commands to a Minecraft server from anywhere. Enter your server's address, RCON port and password, and you get a live command line in your browser.

Your password is only used to send each command and is never saved. Because RCON itself isn't encrypted, give it a long, unique password and only open the RCON port when you need it.

How do I enable RCON on a Minecraft server?
In server.properties set enable-rcon=true, choose an rcon.port (25575 by default) and a strong rcon.password, then restart the server and allow that port through your firewall.
Why does it say connection refused or time out?
RCON isn't enabled, the port is wrong, or a firewall is blocking it. The RCON port is separate from the game port players join on.
Do I need the leading slash on commands?
No. RCON commands are sent without the slash, e.g. list or whitelist add Steve. The tool strips one if you type it.
