Upload an Existing World to Your ARK Survival Evolved Server
Learn how to upload your existing local ARK Survival Evolved save files to your dedicated server, including world data and player profiles.
Here is how to upload existing saves to your ARK Survival Evolved server.

Locating Your Local Save Files
Browse Local Files
Open Steam and navigate to your Library. Right-click ARK Survival Evolved and hover over Manage then Browse Local Files.
Find Your Save Data
Navigate to ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArksLocal. Find the .arktribe, .arkprofile, and TheIsland.ark files (or whichever map you were playing).
Note About Profile Names
The .arkprofile file will be named LocalPlayer.arkprofile. You will need to rename this to your SteamID64.arkprofile. You can find your Steam ID at steamid.io.
💡 Tip: If you want to upload your settings as well, they are located in
ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor. You will need to copyGame.iniandGameUserSettings.ini.
Uploading Your Save to the Server
Stop Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and Stop your server.
Open Server Files
Open Files in the sidebar.
Navigate to SavedArks
Navigate to /ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArks.
Delete Existing Files
Delete everything in this folder.
Upload Your Save Files
Upload your existing save files (.arktribe, .arkprofile, and the map .ark file).
Rename Your Profile
Rename LocalPlayer.arkprofile to your SteamID64.arkprofile.
Start Your Server
Start your server to load the uploaded save.
💡 Tip: If you are uploading a different map, make sure
Server Mapis set correctly inStartup.
