Connecting to Your CS:GO Dedicated Server
Install CS:GO via the legacy beta branch and join your dedicated server using the developer console.
Here is how to install CS:GO and connect to your server using the IP address.
How To Install CS:GO
CS2 completely replaced CS:GO in the Steam store. Luckily, there is still a way to install CS:GO.
Open Steam Library
Open Steam then Library.
Select the Legacy Branch
Click Counter-Strike 2 then Properties. Select Betas then csgo_legacy.
Install the Game
Start the game to begin installing.
How to Connect Using the Console
Copy Your Server IP
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your CSGO server. Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.
Open Counter-Strike Global Offensive
Launch Counter-Strike Global Offensive.
Connect via Console
Open the Developer Console (~), type connect followed by your copied server IP, and press Enter to connect.
