Adding Admins to Your Factorio Server
Learn how to grant admin privileges on your Factorio dedicated server using the promote command in the server console.
Many server management tasks on your Factorio server require administrator permissions. Here is how to make yourself an admin.
Becoming an Admin
Join Your Server
Connect to your Factorio server first so your username is registered.
Open the Server Console
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and select your Factorio server. In the sidebar, click Console.
Promote Yourself
Type /promote YourUsername and press Enter, replacing YourUsername with your Factorio username.
You should see a confirmation message like [PROMOTE] toehunter was promoted to admin by <server>.
