How to Give OP Permissions on Your Minecraft Bedrock Server
Grant admin and operator permissions on your Minecraft Bedrock Edition dedicated server using the XGamingServer console.
Many features on your Minecraft Bedrock server require admin (OP) permissions. Here is how to make yourself or others an operator on your server.
Adding a Server OP
Select Your Server
Log in to the XGamingServer Panel and select your Minecraft server.
Open the Console
In the sidebar, go to Console.
Run the OP Command
Type op Username (replacing Username with the player's gamertag) and press Enter.
Connect to Your Server
Join your server to use OP commands.
📝 Note: If you want to use commands like
/gamemodeor/give, you will also need to enable cheats.
Removing a Server OP
Open the Console
In the XGamingServer Panel, go to Console for your Minecraft server.
Run the Deop Command
Type deop Username and press Enter to remove their OP permissions.
