v1 covers the essential early-mid game engrams (tools, weapons, mid-tier crafting, taming traps). DLC engrams (Aberration, Extinction, Genesis 1/2) and late-game Tek tier are planned for v2. The auto EP-from-level curve is an approximation — for exact values, switch to Manual and enter your server's actual cap.

Why Plan Engrams?

Vanilla ASA caps you around 105 character levels — roughly 6,500 default EP — but the full engram tree costs 12,000+ EP across base + DLC. You can't learn them all. Servers with custom OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints or AutoUnlockAllEngrams sidestep this — but on official, you're forced to specialize. Tribes typically divide: builder learns Smithy + Forge + structures; farmer learns Mortar + Forge + taming traps; PvP main learns weapons + armor + saddles.

These are approximate. ARK's true EP table is non-linear and varies by patch. For exact values, check your character's engram screen in-game and use Manual budget.
